can I have $46 billion more?
President Bush asks congress for $46 billion more in funds for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Reportedly, it is costing us $10 billion a month to watch our young men get shot and killed.
Meanwhile, 300,000 people are evacuated from Southern California because of seven wild fires that have burnt a lot of homes and neighborhoods. And then there’s the flooding in New Orleans.
How bout spending some tax dollars on that? There’s plenty more causes (like child healthcare) that could use some of that $46 billion.
If I had the right, I would give $0 of my tax dollars towards war. zilch. nada. nothing.
